It’s the elephants.
I’m extremely enthusiastic about my journey but when it wasn’t for elephants, I wouldn’t be going.
I actually wouldn’t.
It doesn’t appear so very way back that I wrote a publish about lastly taking the plunge and learning for a BA on the College of Gloucestershire. And but now, too quickly, my diploma is completed; my assessments written, fretted over, submitted, fretted over and graded; and I’ve graduated with first-class honours in Inventive Writing. In order that’s good.
And subsequent? Nicely, seeing no fast purpose to desert my student-y methods and get a correct job, I’ve determined to take a niche 12 months… or quite a niche month and a half.
And for that, I’m, as Kim Wilde would have it, flying to Cambodia.

My Backyard

I used to be planning on taking my laptop computer with a purpose to write and weblog… when not snuggling elephants, after all. However that has confirmed too heavy to lug on my again via rain forest – together with six weeks price of different stuff. However I’m packing my digital camera and, if potential while on the venture and on the hoof, I hope to share photos of what I see on Instagram. And should you’re questioning about my complete elephant obsession factor. Nicely, all of us have obsessions and specific loves, I suppose. Mine simply occurs to be elephants. All the time has been. Possibly it was kicked off by Dumbo, perhaps it was Colonel Hathi, perhaps… pfft, who is aware of what it was. A visit to a zoo’s elephant home as a toddler? No matter, however given the chance, how can I not seize the prospect to work amongst, contact, odor and take care of elephants?
