I take into account the yard as my canvas, on which to play with color, kind, texture. The yard is a reflection of me—some parts formal, some relaxed, standard and trendy, crucial and eccentric. Two stone spheres stand like sturdy sentinels. The stone spiral attracts you in. If a tree falls, I am going to put its stump inside the stump yard, gap out the trunk and use it as a planter, make a sculpture from the branches, all trying to utilize what nature has given me.
